20 types of khanki for elephants. On the occasion of the 14th International Elephant Day, these are the dishes of the Elephant Forest Feast held at Baghmara Central Community Forest office premises on Tuesday.

The elephant ate these mewa desserts arranged on the table with great interest. Sauraha is a famous place in Nepal for elephant safari. Baghmara Central Community Forest of Sourah Aad is crowded with elephant safari tourists.

There was a gathering of 60 elephants at the forest feast held at the same place. Senior conservation officer Ganesh Pant, who is the head of Chitwan National Park, was present at the forest feast organized by the United Elephant Cooperative Society Limited.

Cooperative president Dipendra Khatiwada said that there are 20 types of food, from kuchi made with chickpeas and rice on green grass, to unkhu, mewa, melon, bhunikatahar, pauroti, and elephant kheer cooked with rice in the veli.
