75-year-old Shrivansh Sharma Kandel of Manthali Municipality-7 Mugitar of Ramechhap went missing while bathing in Tamakoshi river on Tuesday morning.
According to Police Inspector Kaushal Neupane of the District Police Office, Kandel went missing while bathing at the Tamakoshi shore in Dhikuri, Mugitar.
The police said that he found clothes at the scene. According to locals, Kandel was seen bathing in the river at around 10:30 am on Tuesday morning.
He has not been seen since. At present, the search operation is continuing with the help of locals, according to the District Police Office Ramechhap.
