Two young men of Morang drowned while taking bath in Gosainkunda. According to District Police Chief Hem Bahadur Shahi, the deceased are 28-year-old Manoj Neupane of Belbari Municipality-11 and 26-year-old Sujan Dhakal of Biratnagar Metropolitan Municipality-3.
The bodies of the two people who went missing while bathing in the holy tank on Sunday were recovered today.
Police Chief Shahi informed that the bodies were recovered with the help of Srinathgan of Nepali Army, Armed Police Force No. 20 Gulm and Nepal Police along with local hoteliers. Due to bad weather, the helicopter could not fly from Kathmandu today, so there was a problem in taking the body to the capital for autopsy, police said. If the weather is clear, arrangements have been made to take the body to Kathmandu on Tuesday morning, Simric Air said.
