One person was killed and the driver was seriously injured when a pick-up van met with an accident at Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-6 Sheetalpati of Sindhuli under the BP highway on Friday morning.

Dharmaraj Regmi of Makwanpur Manhari Rural Municipality-4 died when Yoddha van No. 01-024 Ch 9913, which was coming from Kathmandu towards Sindhulimadi, fell from the road about 500 meters. Niraj Regmi, brother of the deceased driver, was seriously injured and was taken to Dhulikhel Hospital after first aid.

Sindhuli police chief SP Laldhwaj Subedi informed that the accident is being investigated.
