The identity of the person who was killed on Monday at Madhuganga Mahadev Temple in Dudhauli Municipality-2 Lamidanda has been revealed.
Superintendent of Police Laldhwaj Subedi of District Police Office informed that the murdered person is Pankaj Kumar Bhagat of Sitamari Bhavdepur-11, India. He came to see Madhuganga Mahadev. He said that the body will be handed over to his family after the autopsy. Ranjit Bhagat, brother-in-law of the deceased, came to Sindhuli Hospital and identified the deceased.
On Monday morning, the body of a man aged 25-30 years was found at that place . Superintendent of Police Subedi said that in the preliminary investigation, it was seen that the deceased was hit with a sharp weapon on the chest. Police recovered a sharp weapon Chuppi and Khurpa from the spot.
According to the police, Pankaj had come with his friends to visit Madhuganga Mahadev. Superintendent of Police Subedi said that everyone who came with him is absconding and those involved in the incident will be arrested soon. There has been a report about the person involved in the incident.
Devotees from various places in India come here every year on the first Monday of July to see Madhuganga Mahadev.
