There has been a problem of seasonal cold and fever in Jail Office Bharatpur for a week. The treatment was started after 22 people in the prison had problems.

According to Chetanath Dhungana, information officer of the prison, 22 people have been treated separately to prevent the spread of infection after they developed problems with cough and fever. He said that with the change in the weather, there was a problem due to the rain.

Dhungana said that prisoners with health problems such as infected patients and tuberculosis patients are treated separately. Stating that high vigilance has been adopted to prevent the spread of disease in the prison office, he mentioned that the prisoners have been asked to pay attention to cleanliness and food.

Since there are more prisoners than the capacity, due to the change in weather, epidemics may spread, they are asked to take precautions for necessary security. According to him, there are currently 716 prisoners and four dependent children in the prison. The prison has a capacity of 35 women and 470 men, and currently there are 43 women and 673 men inmates.
