Installation of 16 dialysis machines in different hospitals of Bagmati province

The Health Ministry of Bagmati State Government has installed 16 dialysis machines (equipment) in various hospitals of the state including Bhaktapur Hospital.

Provincial Health Minister Kiran Thapa informed that the provincial health minister, Kiran Thapa, has installed dialysis machines in provincial hospitals under the ministry to reduce the need to pay 2,500 rupees a time to go to private hospitals due to the increased pressure on government hospitals for kidney patients to receive dialysis services. 

According to him, the ministry has brought and installed five machines in Bhaktapur Hospital. Minister Thapa informed that the Ministry has installed two dialysis machines in Dhading Hospital, two in Sindhuli Hospital, two in Trishuli Hospital, two in Bakulhar Ratnagar Hospital and three in Hetauda Hospital. 

Stating that the hospital will easily provide services to kidney patients with the installation of dialysis machines, he mentioned that patients can get services from the nearest hospital. Minister Thapa informed that equipment will be added to the provincial hospital in the coming days.  

Executive Director of Bhaktapur Hospital, Dr. Surendra Bhatt informed that the hospital will immediately start dialysis service with five beds after receiving the equipment.
