The police arrested four people with 1,74 kg of marijuana in Kailash Rural Municipality of Makwanpur at 8 o'clock on Monday morning.

On the basis of a special information that there is a large quantity of narcotic marijuana, under the leadership of a police team deployed from Narcotics Control Bureau Koteshwar, the police also deployed from District Police Office Makwanpur, Area Police Office Palung and seized 1,074 kilograms of marijuana.

The police said that 73-year-old Hari Bahadur Waiba, 48-year-old Badri Bahadur Pakhrin of Kailash Rural Municipality-5, Kathare, 34-year-old Arun Gole and 19-year-old Rajendra Lama were detained by the police.
