Chitwan National Park has stopped the jeep safari inside the park from today. The park issued a notice saying that since it is the breeding time of wild animals and birds, the jeep safari has been closed with effect from today.

According to the information officer of the park, Avinash Thapa Magar, the jeep safari has been closed until the first or second week of October. If there is heavy rain at that time, the opening will be delayed, but if there is less rain, the safari will open in the first week of October. 

The rainy season is considered the breeding season for wild animals. When people enter the park at this time, the park has stopped the jeep safari as it may interfere with the habitat and breeding of wild animals. 

According to Magar, the paths of the park during Barkhayama  The safety of tourists has also been taken into consideration due to deterioration and flooding. The park administration closes commercial jeep safaris every year during floods.

32 jeeps from the Sauraha area of ​​the park, 21 from Kasara, 11 from Meghauli and nine from Nawalparasi take tourists around the park.  Jeep safari will be conducted regularly in the intermediate forest area outside the park.
