28 billion revenue collection from Rasuwa customs checkpoint

The revenue received from the customs duty of goods imported from the neighboring country China through the Rasuwa customs checkpoint has been made public. From July of the current financial year to the end of last May, 28 billion 71 crores of revenue has been received from the duty of imported materials and has been deposited in the state treasury.

According to Chief Customs Officer Tulsi Prasad Bhattarai, the revenue has increased by 52 percent compared to the same period of last financial year. 18 billion 98 crore 21 lakh revenue was collected in 11 months of last year. According to Rasuwa Customs Office, 11.48 billion revenue was received from vehicles alone.
