The meeting allowance will not be taken on the day when the National Democratic Party boycotted the House.

On Monday, the RPP parliamentary party made a decision and requested the Parliament Secretariat not to provide the meeting allowance for that day as the RPP boycotted the meeting of the House of Representatives held on Sunday.

In the meeting held on Sunday, RPP and RSWP protested in the House regarding the visit visa issue. Even during the protest, the MPs of RPP boycotted the meeting because Speaker Devraj Ghimire moved the House forward.

The RPP has requested the Parliament Secretariat to make an arrangement so that the meeting allowance of that day will be returned to the revenue. RPP's Chief Whip Gyan Bahadur Shahi has said that the decision was taken because it is morally and theoretically not appropriate to take meeting allowance on the day of boycott.
