The Bagmati state government has allocated a budget of 67 billion 47 billion 73 lakh 27 thousand rupees for the next financial year 2082/083.

Economic Affairs and Planning Minister Kundanraj Kafle has allocated 26 billion 446 million 91 thousand rupees i.e. 38.6 percent for the current budget and 42 billion 43 million 26 lakh 36 thousand rupees i.e. 61.4 percent for capital.

In the budget, 28 billion 8782 million 1 thousand rupees from tax and revenue, 6 billion 794 million 13 thousand rupees from other revenues, 41 billion 819 million rupees from federal financial transfers, 16 billion 9894 million 13 thousand rupees from savings and miscellaneous receipts of the current year's accumulated fund are estimated.
