Kavre's Banepa Municipality road has been declared child-free. During a program on Thursday, Banepa municipality roads were declared child-free.

Women, Children and Senior Citizens Branch of the Municipality has informed that as no street children are found living in a state of abandonment in the villages/communities/basti, alleys, temple premises, roads or any other place within the municipality's ward area, according to the decision of the executive on the 27th of June 2082, the city along with all the wards has been declared free of street children.

Signing the street children free manifesto to the municipality, Deepak Kumar Gautam, the head of the district coordination committee, alerted them to the fact that street children are not seen in the wards and city areas now and the challenges that may be seen later. "Children are forced to come to the streets due to parentless, economic and family conditions, violence," he said, "It is necessary to understand the real situation of children and solve their problems, taking into consideration the fact that children can be seen on the streets, the municipality should monitor and monitor this matter from time to time." Addressing the

program, Banepa Municipality Deputy Chief Bimala Sapkota Dahal said that the municipality was declared free of street children after no children were found on the streets. According to him, there are no children in this municipality who have to live on the streets, and children coming from other districts and the country live on the streets. 

Even after the municipality was declared child-free, she expressed her commitment that if children are found on the streets of the city, the municipality will manage them. She said that the municipality will regularly monitor and monitor this matter.  In the

event, Banepa municipality's representatives, representatives of various concerned bodies, employees signed the declaration. Likewise,  Certificates were also given to the public representatives of all the 14 wards that were declared free of street children.
