A person killed two children with a sharp weapon and tried to commit suicide. 42-year-old Leelaraj Giri, whose house is near 25 Kisan Chowk, Bharatpur Metropolitan City, killed his nephew and his own daughter with a sharp weapon.

He attempted suicide after attacking two people. He attacked the children who were preparing to go to school in the morning. According to Chief Superintendent of Police Govind Puri of the District Police Office, Giri hit his seven-year-old daughter Prabha Giri and his brother Daya Giri's five-year-old son Sajan Giri with a khurpa.

After that, he informed that Khurpa attacked himself. He said that after the incident, the three people were brought to Chitwan Medical College for treatment, but two children died and the condition of Giri was serious.
