After 35 years, 26 families of Panchkhal Municipality have received the certificate of the land they have been living.
About 65 ropani land of former Devbhoomi Baluwa village was mistakenly measured in the name of Chandradhwaj Khand, so the local landowners could not make the land owner Purja. At the time of land survey, the real owner of the land did not get the supply after it was registered in someone else's name.
'We had to wait for 35 years to get land in our name', said local Ram Bahadur Danuwar. He has taken the land of 14 annas and two paisa area from the mayor Mahesh Kharel.
The local leader had been trying to get food for the people without food for years. Mayor Kharel distributed food to twenty-four families. He said that out of the land registered in the name of Khand, about 27 ropani land has been made and distributed.
"Parts made in the first phase were distributed to 26 land owners, now the registration process of the land remaining to be made at the district land registry office has reached the final stage", he said.
