The Bagmati state government has declared a public holiday on Wednesday. On the occasion of Language Day, the state government has given a public holiday on 24th Baisakh.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law issued a notification on Monday and informed that a public holiday has been announced on the occasion of Language Day. Ravita Karki, the information officer of the Ministry, gave information on the implementation of the Provincial Official Working Language Act 2079 to celebrate 'Language Day'.
