Hetauda Cement Industry has resumed operations after six months. After maintenance of industrial equipment and supply of raw materials, the preparation of limestone for cement production has started from last Tuesday.

According to Naveen Kumar Karna, acting general manager of the industry, cement production will be started after a couple of days. Now the goal of producing 600 quintals of cement daily  is He emphasized that the devices installed in 2033 are in short supply and new ones should be purchased. 

Lamenting that it is impossible for the Nepal Electricity Authority to arrange electricity tariffs and salaries for employees, he expressed his hope that the government will help in solving the problems of the industry.
