According to District Police Office Kavre, 11 people were injured in a bus accident in Roshi Rural Municipality under BP Highway.

On Thursday morning at around 08:25 am, the BP highway road section in Kavre district, Roshi rural municipality-9 located in Downema, going to Ramechhap from Kathmandu, Province 3-01- 006 B 1339 no. The passenger bus met with an accident. Due to rain, the bus skidded on the slippery road due to lack of brakes and was going to Kathmandu from Khandbari. The police said that they hit the mini bus.

Information Officer of District Police Office Kavre, Police Deputy Superintendent Min Bahadur Ghale informed that the bus fell down about 20 meters from the road in the accident. According to him, 11 out of 15 people on board the bus were injured in the accident. He said that they were sent to primary health center Mangaltar for treatment.

The bus driver has been taken into custody by the local police office Mangaltar. The police said that details about the incident are yet to come.
