On the occasion of Chaite Dasain, the Newar community of Sindhuli has tried to maintain social unity by having a mass feast. All communities are invited to the collective feast held every year.
A group feast and social unity and harmony program was organized at Dhungraiwas of Kamalamai Municipality-4.
Organizer Bhishmaraj Shrestha said that the program is being organized to end the disharmony in the society and to strengthen the relationship of brotherhood. The Newar community organizes a program to save their culture by collectively managing the expenses and inviting everyone from the whole village.
President of Sindhuli Industry and Commerce Association Arjun Kumar Shrestha said that together with the revival of tradition and culture, group programs will strengthen social unity. They say, 'Ke Newar, Ke Wahun Chhetri or any other community will maintain unity in the society if they all join together and enjoy.'
