An old man who was injured after falling from a tree two days ago in Hetaunda died on Sunday. 62-year-old Bharat Bahadur Alemgar of Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city-1 Chowkitol was injured after falling from a tree on Friday. He was taken to Chitwan Medical Bharatpur for treatment.

Doctors at the hospital sent him home on Sunday saying that treatment was not possible. Shyamu Aryal, Deputy Superintendent of Police and Spokesperson of Makwanpur District Police Office, said that he died on the way while bringing him home. After treatment was not possible at Hetaunda Hospital, he was taken to Chitwan Medical College. 

Ale magar fell down and got injured while trying to pick sarifa by climbing the sarifa tree in front of his house. According to District Police Office Makwanpur, 12 people including 3 women have died after falling from 9 Makwanpur trees and branches. During this period, 13 people were injured.
