The meeting of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly has been called for today at 1 pm. The meeting called for Tuesday was postponed due to lack of consensus on budget allocation.
Assembly speaker Bhuvan Kumar Pathak said that discussions will be held between the parties today to conduct the state assembly meeting and maximum efforts will be made to reach an agreement. Speaker Pathak said that the discussion between the government side and the opposition party was held but no conclusion could be reached, so a joint discussion was held again today.
After the opposition parties announced to block the meeting saying that the government could not balance the budget allocation for the current financial year and the previous agreements were not implemented, Speaker Pathak has been holding joint discussions with the parties for an agreement.
