A fire broke out in a multi-purpose plastic industry at Bhimfedi in Makwanpur. A fire broke out in the barrack building in the industrial complex run by the Nepali Army in Bhimphedi rural municipality- 6.
The fire broke out at seven o'clock on Wednesday morning. Seven rooms of the Rana-era building made of kathaikath have been completely damaged. Soldiers were living in that building. Due to the fire, their belongings were burnt and destroyed. As it was a wooden building, there was a rush to control the fire. There has been no response to the industry.
The fire was brought under control after 2 hours with the help of a team led by Police Inspector Lalita Dhakal of Bhimphedi area police office, armed police, army team and fire brigade of Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city. Police Inspector Dhakal said that she was taking the details of what and how much damage was caused by the fire.
