In order to embody the creative ability and entrepreneurial thinking of the youth, the Provincial Youth Council Bagmati and Makwanpur Multiple Campus is going to conduct a program called 'Special Youth Talent Identification'. The program was launched with the aim of providing young startups with the necessary mentoring, financial support, access to technology and infrastructure.
In order to make the program more organized and effective, a memorandum of understanding was exchanged between Dr. Yam Silwal, the head of Makwanpur Multipurpose Campus, and Santosh Chaulagai, the vice president of the Province Yuva Parishad Bagmati.
Mukwanpur Multiple Campus President Anant Paudel, the outgoing president of the campus and Bagmati Province's first Chief Minister Dormani Paudel, Council Office Chief Ramesh Ghimire, Swaviyu Chairman Famous Regmi and others were present in the MoU exchange program. Under the
program, the goal is to promote entrepreneurship and create jobs by transforming innovative thinking into business. Dr. Silwal, head of Makwanpur Multipurpose Campus, said that the young innovators selected at different stages will be facilitated through the startup incubator and will be provided with knowledge on business training, leadership development, investment management and digital marketing. According to the organizers,
startups will be identified and provided with necessary support and infrastructure to make them competitive at the national and international level. A plan has been made to help young businessmen to raise financial resources by establishing direct contact with investors. In addition, startup expo, innovation summit and various programs to promote entrepreneurship have been prepared. According to the executive vice-president of
council, Santosh Chaulagain, this program, which was conducted with the aim of contributing to the economic growth of the country, will not only bring innovative thinking to commercial success, but will also help create an environment for creating jobs in the country by promoting local production. Also, it is believed to help reduce brain drain by providing opportunities to talented youth in the country. Under the
programme, various measures will be adopted to manage financial assistance and investment to innovators and startups. Grants or seed capital will be provided competitively.
