An employee working at Kamalamai Municipal Environment Branch died in a jeep collision on Sunday morning.

Police said that 35-year-old Sher Bahadur Khapangi, a sanitation worker of Kamalamai Municipality-12, was killed when a jeep numbered Province 1-001 Ch 8821, which was going from Jhapa to Kathmandu, collided while going to the office for cleaning.

Khapangi, who was riding a bicycle, was hit by a jeep under the BP highway near Ratmata Ghumti of Kamalamai Municipality-6. Sindhuli police chief SP Govindraj Kafle informed that the driver who hit the driver has been arrested.
