Makwanpur's Bhimfedi rural municipality has affiliated 199 informal sector workers to the social security fund.

According to the chairman of the rural municipality, Fid Lama, 199 workers have been joined to the social security fund as part of the campaign to join the informal sector workers in the social security fund, which started last financial year.  He said that under the

campaign, 11 percent i.e. 1,180 and 1,140 rupees of the monthly salary of 10,820 for the informal sector workers and 1,140 rupees will be collected in the social security fund. 2.5 million has been allocated in the current year to involve workers in the fund.
