The mystery of the brother-in-law killing his sister-in-law in Chowkitol, Hetounda-1, after consuming drugs, has been revealed.

22-year-old Rahul Das killed his elder sister-in-law 35-year-old Gudiya Das with a machete on Wednesday. The initial statement taken by District Police Office Makwanpur with Rahul and his medical check-up confirmed that he had taken drugs.

'He has been a drug user . "He has admitted to killing his brother-in-law," said Thakur Prasad Sapkota, spokesman and police inspector of Makwanpur district police office. Rahul has also said in the statement that his family looks at him with hatred.

According to police sources, he used to ask for money from his brother-in-law for taking drugs. It is seen that when the brother-in-law did not give money and he was strict, he hit the knife in anger. Rahul also injured Milo's brother Rupesh Das, 28 years old.

"Rahul has said that he felt that he was not safe even from Dai and tried to kill him", police inspector Sapkota said . The injured Rupesh is being treated at Makwanpur Cooperative Hospital located in Hetounda-1. He has a serious injury on his arm.

The eldest of the three brothers of Das, Roshan Das went to Qatar 5 months ago for employment. Dolly, a mother of 3 children, was killed by Rahul at her home. Rahul hit the doll on the head and killed her and covered her body in the room . Even after 9 o'clock on Wednesday night, the locals informed the police after not having contact with the doll.

The police opened the closed room of the house and found a dead body. Although the police came to know that he was killed at 9 o'clock on Wednesday night, his body was taken to Hetounda Hospital for postmortem only on Thursday at 10 o'clock in the morning.

'The family has been deranged due to the incident . Therefore, we have not investigated other matters . "Rahul's communication with his own father has been stopped for 2 years", according to police inspector Sapkota, the preliminary investigation shows that the relationship in his family has deteriorated due to drug consumption.

The Das family has been doing fruit business in the wholesale market of vegetables and fruits in Hetounda.
