One person died when a truck carrying coal fell into Trishuli river. According to the District Police Office, the deceased is Ram Narayan Yadav of Rautahat Sakhuwa, a 35-year-old truck driver.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Ravindra Khanal of the district police, on Tuesday morning, a truck carrying coal No. BA 03-001 B 4874, which was going from Narayangadh to Muglin, went out of control and fell into the Trishuli river at Fourteen Kilo located in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29.

When the truck fell into Trishuli, both the driver and co-driver of the truck were injured. Among the injured, driver Yadav died at Bharatpur Hospital at 8:30 in the morning, he said.

19-year-old Asundra Kumar Yadav of Garuda Municipality-5 of Rautahat, co-driver of the truck, was injured. According to the police, he is being treated at Chitwan Medical College.
