Bagmati Provincial Assembly meeting has been called for Chait 19th. The meeting of the Provincial Assembly, which was postponed indefinitely, was postponed after almost 2 months.
Speaker Bhuvan Kumar Pathak called the meeting for 1 pm on the 19th. In the meeting, Speaker Pathak informed that there is an agenda to pass the 4 bills received for amendment in the Parliament. He said that the meeting was called because the report of the amendment bill pending in the parliamentary committee had to be submitted and passed.
Earlier, two meetings were held on January 23, one on January 24 and two on January 26 as part of the winter session of the Provincial Assembly which started on January 18. In the meeting, the agenda of the meeting is to present a bill to amend the Madan Bhandari Institute of Health Sciences-2076, a bill to make provisions regarding agricultural development, a bill to amend the Provincial Industrial Business Act 2076, and a report on the bill to amend the Provincial Trade and Business Act 2076.
Provincial Chief Minister Deepak Prasad Devkota has submitted a report along with amendments to the Provincial Agricultural Development Bill.
Parliament meeting has been convened, education, health and agriculture committee meeting has been convened for March 13th and 14th.
Industry, Tourism and Environment Committee meeting is scheduled to be held on 17th and 18th of Chait. The state assembly said that the meeting will finalize the report of the amendment bill to be submitted to the parliament.
