Labor and Employment Office of Bagmati State Government, Hetaunda, has punished two operators for doing hazardous work to children. The Labor and Employment Office, Hetaunda, imposed a fine of 30,000 rupees on children for making them do hazardous work.
Aslam Ansari, the owner of the Auto Motor Battery Workshop located in Hetaunda-10, was fined for engaging a 14-year-old boy in hazardous labour.
The office fined Ajay Sharma, the owner of Churiamai Furniture Industry located in Hetaunda-10, Rs. On Friday, the representatives of Labor and Employment Office, Hetaunda Sub-Metropolitan City and Child Helpline Makwanpur found that children were engaged in hazardous work.
The monitoring team rescued those two children involved in child labor and kept them under the protection of Child Helpline Makwanpur. The owner was fined and the children were handed over to their parents.
