Makwanpur police arrested 2 people from Hetaunda with drug nitrate. Those arrested are 26-year-old Rajesh Tamang of Haripur Municipality 2 of Sarlahi and 20-year-old Nirmal Dhungel of Pokhara Metropolitan Municipality 19 of Kaski.

They were arrested with 569 tablets of narcotic Nitravet while checking the motorcycle No. 12 P 4978, which was coming from Pathalaiya towards Hetaunda under the East-West Highway, Hetaunda-15 Ratomate.

Based on suspicion, while checking the motorcycle, 569 tablets of Nitravet were found in a hidden state, the spokesman of District Police Office Makwanpur, Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamu Aryal informed.

Tamang and Dhungel, who were arrested, were given a 7-day permission from the Makwanpur District Court and the necessary investigation process was started, he said.
