Mandandeupur municipality of Kavre and Fujinomiya city of Japan have established a sister relationship.

Mayor Hitetada Sudo of Fujinomiya city in Japan and city chief Tok Bahadur Waiba signed the agreement on Sunday at the special invitation of Mandandeupur for sisterhood. 

In a formal program held at the city executive office, both mayors expressed their belief that the sisterhood agreement will strengthen the religious, cultural and tourism partnership between Mandandeupur and Fujinomiya city . Mayor Sudo expressed special interest in the cultural heritage of Nepal, especially Kavrepalanchok, and said that this relationship will strengthen the mutual relationship between the two cities.

Similarly, city chief Waiba mentioned that the sister relationship will provide an opportunity to introduce Mandandeupur at the international level . He expressed his belief that by strengthening the Nepal-Japan relationship, it will contribute to the promotion of religious tourism.

Deputy head of Mandan Deupur Municipality Vishnupani Nepal said that the partnership was established with the aim of promoting mutual cooperation and deep fraternal relations and understanding between the municipalities of the two countries.

People's representatives and representatives of Japan's Fujinomiya municipality have come to Nepal at the formal invitation of Mandandeupur Municipality.
