One person died when a bus hit a scooter in Makwanpur's Manhari rural municipality-6 Bhulchowk under East-West Highway.

The police said that 28-year-old Akash Baramu, a resident of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-2 Kshetrapur, who was riding the scooter, was killed when the bus No. 4 B 5582 coming from Chitwan towards Hetaunda hit the scooter No. Ba.P.06-002 P 4233 going from Manhari to Chitwan.

28-year-old Buddha Lama of Sunsari's Itahari sub-metropolitan city-7 was injured. He is being treated at New Medical College, Bharatpur.
