4 people were injured when a jeep with Indian number plates met with an accident in Cisneri of Makwanpur on Monday morning. There were 17 passengers in the vehicle.

The accident occurred at a place called Dharakholsa in Indrasarovar Rural Municipality-3 Sisneri of Makwanpur, which was going from Kathmandu to Uttar Pradesh, India.

UP 70 NT 6917 going to Uttar Pradesh from Kathmandu via Hetaunda has been reported to have had an accident when the brakes suddenly failed at Dharakholsa. Immediately after the accident, the police team of the area police office, Sisneri, reached the spot. 

Shyamu Aryal, Deputy Superintendent of Police and Spokesperson of District Police Office Makwanpur, said that the injured are being brought to Hetounda for treatment with the help of police and locals. Police said that the condition of the injured is moderate.
