District Police Office Makwanpur has arrested 7 juveniles in the case of extortion.
On the 6th of January at 8:30 in the morning, they were arrested on the basis of a complaint filed by a young woman for forcing her to perform forced labor in the forest near the Vanaskhandi Temple located in District Hetaunda-2.
Makwanpur Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamu Aryal said that the victim girl filed a complaint at the district police office on February 21. According to him, during the investigation based on the complaint, the accused juveniles living in different places of Hetounda were detained on February 22.
The police have obtained a 5-day permission from Makwanpur District Court Hetouda to investigate the case of extortion. All the teenagers are under 18 years of age.
