The Hetauda Industrial Area Management Office has canceled the contracts of three industries which have been closed for a long time and started the property auction process.
The Industrial Area Management Office has initiated action against Nepal Brewery Pvt Ltd, Green Gold International Pvt Ltd and Bania Multi Products Pvt Ltd which have been closed for the past three/four years. Sangeeta Kunwar, Head of Hetauda Industrial Zone Management Office, said that the action was initiated because they did not want to get in touch with the owners of those industries which were closed due to various reasons.
'We called the industry operator by calling and writing continuously,' said Chief Kunwar, 'but they did not come, so we have canceled the contract and started the property auction process, the notice for the property auction has already been issued, we will complete the process and auction soon.'
Meanwhile, two more industries have come into operation in Hetauda Industrial Area. Along with this, the number of industries operating in the industrial sector has reached 146, according to the Industrial Sector Management Office. Rameshraj Nepal, information officer of the Industrial Area Management Office informed that last time, Threestar Group started producing colored and plain cardboard boxes and Baba Manufacture Pvt. Ltd. started producing small tin boxes.
Established on November 20, 2020 with the financial support of the American government, one hundred and forty-six industries and establishments are currently operating businesses by renting land. There are currently 10 industries under construction within the industrial area spread over a total area of 3,228 plants.
Out of the total land area, 2 thousand 178 ropanis, empty land 26.52 ropanis and the area of road network, electrification, drainage etc. occupied by utility services is 597 ropanis. Within the industrial area, there are 10 industrial buildings, 11 warehouses and 34 other buildings constructed from offices. The Industrial Area Management Office has been taking the rent of industrial buildings, warehouses, quarter buildings and land based on the needs and demands of the industrial establishments within the industrial area.
