Inaugurating the 36th Annual General Meeting of Narayani Transport Professionals Association Hetaunda on Saturday, Chief Minister Lama said, 'We are preparing to establish a fund for the state government to organize insurance and medical treatment for accident victims.' Chief Minister Lama said that the state government is determined to solve the problems of transport professionals.
Labor Employment and Transport Minister Prem Bhakta Maharjan mentioned in the program that transport businessmen have contributed significantly to the revenue collection of Bagmati Province. He informed that more than 13 billion revenue was collected from transport businessmen last year.
He said that the ministry is doing its homework to operate the transport sector in an orderly manner.
