One person died in Sindhuli shooting, two arrested

It has been confirmed that 46-year-old Yug Bahadur Syangtan from Hyanglekh Rural Municipality-4 Ahale died of bullet injury. Yug Bahadur, who was injured after falling from a tree, died on Thursday during treatment.

Superintendent of Police of the District Police Office Govindaraj Kafle informed that Yug Bahadur, who fell from a tree and was seriously injured while cutting grass in the forest, died on Wednesday afternoon. According to him, a police team under the command of Police Inspector Tikaraj Baral from the area police office Bastipur started investigating the incident after receiving information that a tree fell from a tree while cutting grass and was being treated at KMC Hospital Sinamangal Kathmandu.

Pranau Kafle said, 'We received the information that Yug Bahadur, who was being treated at the hospital, died at 8 o'clock this morning.' During the investigation, the doctor involved in the treatment informed that bullet fragments were found in Yog Bahadur's thigh.

Police have arrested 25-year-old Bal Bahadur Moktan and 41-year-old Lekh Bahadur Gole of Hyanglekh Rural Municipality-4 for further investigation regarding the incident. Pranau Kafle informed that they are being arrested and investigated from police station Gaushala, Kathmandu in coordination with the district police. It has come to light that when the arrested persons went to the forest to hunt with homemade guns, Yug Bahadur Syangtan was injured by gunshots and was brought to Kathmandu for treatment. The police said that they are also looking for other people involved in the incident.
