A man died after falling from the roof of a house in Sanopokhara, Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city-5. District Police Office Makwanpur said that 60-year-old Govind Adhikari of Kholesimal, Chitwan Kalika Municipality-6 has died.

The officer came to Hetaunda on Thursday and stayed at a relative's house in Sanopokhara. The officer was seriously injured when he fell from the roof on the third floor at 11 am on Friday.

The injured officer was taken to Chitwan Medical College in Chitwan for further treatment after general treatment at Hetaunda Hospital. Police spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamu Aryal said that the officer died during treatment on Friday afternoon.
