Vidur Sapkota, a member of the Politburo of the CPN Unified Samajwadi Party and a member of the Constituent Assembly, has passed away. According to family sources, he died on Thursday morning during treatment at the Helping Hand Hospital in Chawhil, Kathmandu.
Sapkota's body will be kept at the party central office Aloknagar Tinkune from 8 am to 10 am, informed Tok Bahadur Waiba, a member of the party's politburo and Kavre district in-charge.
Before the party split, he worked as the district secretary of CPN-UML for a long time.
