A fire broke out in Sunkosi rural municipality ward 6 Sanopank on Wednesday evening due to an electrical short. According to District Police Sindhupalchok, when a fire broke out in the four-room house of a resident of Ramesh Thapa, things like food, clothes and drawers were burnt.
After receiving the information about the fire, four security personnel were deployed from the police station. The police said that the fire that broke out suddenly on Wednesday evening was brought under control after some time.
It is estimated that the material worth 250,000 has been damaged in the house. Locals said that people and other nearby houses were not harmed because they were able to put out the fire by exercising caution in time.
