Two people have been arrested along with the akhetopahar of the protected wild animal snow leopard. Chitwan National Park arrested them on Tuesday and made them public today.
According to Avinash Thapamgar, information officer of the park, the staff of the park and the Nepali army team arrested them from Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality-10 based on a special information.
The accused have been kept in the custody of the park for investigation. Information Officer Thapamgar informed them that action will be taken according to Section 26 (1) of Wildlife Protection Act 2029.
