District Police Office Hetaunda has arrested 13 absconding persons on the same day after being found guilty by the court in various cases.
Keshar Bahadur Tamang, 30-year-old Anil Lama of Dhading Gajuri, who was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 5 lakh by District Court Makwanpur in the opium case, was arrested by District Police Office Makwanpur from Hetounda market on Sunday.
Similarly, 8 people including a woman from Makwanpur's Wakaiya Rural Municipality-10 have been arrested and handed over to the court as they were absconding after being found guilty by the court in the assault case. 8 of them were fined Rs 930 each.
Similarly, after the court ruled that the abortion was due to beating and fined each of them 200 rupees, the police arrested the two women who were absconding and submitted them to the court for recovery.
