To reduce traffic accidents, District Traffic Police Office Chitwan has started a Shubhayatra campaign for motorcyclists. Bharatpur Municipal Corporation-10 Chairman Parameshwar Khanal and Chief Superintendent of Police of District Police Office Chitwan Gautam Mishra jointly launched the campaign.

In the current fiscal year, 607 vehicles were involved in 406 accidents, 356 of which were two-wheelers. In that accident, 63 people died in the district and 718 people were injured. During the

program, Ward President Khanal and Chief of District Police Office Chitwan, Gautam said that such programs will be effective in reducing accidents.
