Makwanpur police have arrested 2 people with 15 kg 680 grams of illegal drug marijuana. The team of the area police office Newarpani arrested 2 people from Hetounda-19, Newarpani under the east-west highway.
Those arrested are Nakkal Bahadur Bal alias Babu Bal, 40, resident of Manhari Rural Municipality-3, Handikhola, and Salman Gurung alias Ashish, 19, resident of Hetounda 11 police station.
District Police Office Makwanpur said that 15 kg 680 grams of ganja were found when they came from Narayangadh in bus No. 5 B 5129 coming from Narayangadh towards Hetaunda. Marijuana was found hidden inside the bag they were carrying.
District Court Makwanpur took permission for 8 days from both of them and further investigation process was started, Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamu Aryal, spokesperson of District Police Office Makwanpur said.
