Makwanpur police have arrested three people with opium, hashish and ganja from two places. Police arrested two Indian citizens with 21 kg 460 grams of charash and 3 kg 470 grams of opium from Thaha municipality-11 Tistung Naukhande under Tribhuvan Rajpath on Saturday night.

Going from Palung of Thaha municipality to Naubise. While checking the car with Indian number plate DL 8 CX 1224, the police found hashish and opium hidden in the car. Along with the drugs, the police arrested 25-year-old Kunal Gothwala from Haryana, India and 20-year-old Manish Kumar from New Subas Nagar, Haryana. The arrested Gothwala is a car driver. 

Similarly, Ratomate located in Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city-15  The police of the post arrested one person with 101 kg of ganja. Police Superintendent of Police Vishwaraj Khadka informed in a press conference that while checking the car with Indian number plate number DL 13 C 1561 which was going from Chitwan to Birganj, the police of Ratomate check post stopped and checked that cannabis was found in the car. Police have arrested 20-year-old Rajan Raut Kurmi of Birganj Metropolitan Municipality-26 with marijuana. Raut is a car driver.
