Makwanpur police arrested 7 absconding persons in various cases on Sunday. District Police Office Makwanpur has arrested seven absconding persons in cases related to drugs, banking offences, criminal treachery and criminal benefits, crimes related to life and others, Makwanpur Spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamu Aryal informed.

According to him, 44-year-old Hari Bahadur Nepali of Manhari Rural Municipality-8, 45-year-old Mira Giri and 38-year-old Ram Bahadur Praja of Raksirang Rural Municipality-5 have been arrested in the case of drug marijuana and hashish. District Court Makwanpur on different dates respectively sentenced Nepali to 4 months and 17 days, Giri to 5 months and Praja to 6 months with a fine of Rs.

According to him, the police have arrested 43-year-old Lalita Upreti of Hetauda sub-metropolis-5 in banking offences, 56-year-old Kumar Syangtan of Hetauda-12 in a case related to criminal treachery and criminal gain, 50-year-old Ramkumar Upadhyay of Hetauda-8 in a murder-related offense and 42-year-old of Hetauda-5 Chabilal Pudasaini alias Navraj was arrested in the check dishonor case.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Aryal, the district court of Makwanpur had sentenced upreti to 10 years imprisonment, Syangtan to 5 days imprisonment and a fine of Rs. He was arrested and handed over to Makwanpur district court for necessary investigation and action.
