In Manhari Rural Municipality-5, Basantpur of Makwanpur, the tiger that ran away to the forest after eating people and goats has been brought under control.

Shyamu Aryal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Makwanpur, said that the tiger, which had returned to eat its own prey, was taken into custody on Tuesday evening.

Kanchimaya Rumba, who had gone out to cut grass in the evening of 14th of January, was killed near the house and the same night, he killed 7 other goats in the cage and was darted while returning to the village in search of prey.

The technicians of Chitwan National Wildlife Refuge and Parsa National Wildlife Refuge, the Nepali Army, and the people's representative team came up with a way to attract the tiger by showing a dead goat and control it with darts.

According to this, on Monday evening, goats were placed on the path where the tiger might come, but on Tuesday evening, the tiger came through the same path and was darted while eating the goat kept by the team.
