During the first five months of the current financial year 2081/82, the expenditure of the Wagmati state government is disappointing. The state government has been able to spend only about 12 percent of the total budget from July to November of the current year 2081/82.
According to Suraj Paudel, information officer of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning of the state government, 11.42 percent of the total budget has been spent during the five months of the current year 2081/82.
