The dry port under construction at Timure in Rasuwa, the northern border of the country with a border with China, is 72 percent complete.

Ashish Gajurel, executive director of Nepal Inter-modal Transport Development Committee, informed after the on-site inspection that the work of the port under construction with the financial and technical support of the Chinese government is 72 percent complete.

Construction of embankment with seven hundred meter long and five and a half meter high cement pillars in Bhotekoshi Bagger, construction of auxiliary route to and from the port, storage of bagger, two warehouse buildings have been constructed. 

He said that work is going on with the goal of completing the construction by the end of next June. In the port, there will be a joint inspection area, a warehouse building, 300 freighters and 100 small vehicles can be parked.
