Makwanpur has arrested three people with marijuana from two places. Makwanpur police have arrested 2 persons with drug marijuana from Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city-19 Newarpani.
35-year-old Somilal Chepang and 20-year-old Kishore Chepang of Rorang rural municipality-2 Talti of Dhading were arrested on Friday with 14 kg 830 grams of marijuana, according to Makwanpur District Police Office.
The police team deployed from Newarpani area police office Makwanpur on the east-west road section of Newarpani while checking the security of the passenger bus No. 3 B 1741 coming from Chitwan towards Hetaunda, recovered drug marijuana from the passengers on the bus.
The police said that they found 14 kg 830 grams of narcotic ganja hidden inside the bags carried by Somilal and Kishore. The police said that Somilal and Kishore were arrested along with the drug marijuana and further investigation is underway. According to the police, investigation work is being carried out after obtaining permission from the district court for 5 days.
Similarly, Makwanpur police arrested 33-year-old Chandra Bahadur Gole of Nayabasti, Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city-14 with the drug marijuana. Based on a special information, the police team deployed from the area police office, Pashupatinagar, said that they recovered 5 kg of ganja from Gole's house. According to the police, Gole is being investigated after obtaining a 3-day permission from the Makwanpur District Court.
